My Practice.

My name is Henry. I am a CPA and CISA with 14 years of experience in operational and financial auditing, SOX 404 compliance, risk management, and data analytics. I’ve built my career around understanding how companies actually operate—their processes, risks, internal controls, and the story their data tells.
I began my career in the assurance practice at BDO USA, where I developed a strong foundation in auditing, SEC reporting, and internal controls while supporting SEC registrants across the technology, retail, and manufacturing sectors.
I later moved into Internal Audit and Compliance roles at publicly traded organizations, supporting U.S.-based companies across both domestic and international operations, with particular depth in LATAM and EMEA markets.
I work with organizations to provide assurance over business and operational risks, particularly in areas where leadership lacks direct day-to-day visibility. This includes performing operational audits that assess efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency across core processes, as well as identifying control gaps, breakdowns, and opportunities for improvement based on how operations function in practice—not just how they are documented.
In parallel, I support organizations with SOX 404 compliance, including the design, documentation, testing, and remediation of internal controls. I work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure SOX requirements are met in a way that is practical, scalable, and aligned with the realities of the business—especially during periods of growth, system implementations, or organizational change.
What ties this work together is the value I bring through clarity, execution, and judgment. I take a hands-on, personalized approach, going deep into processes, systems, and data to connect operational performance with control expectations. By aligning operational assurance, SOX compliance, and risk management, I help organizations strengthen their financial, operational, and technology foundations—and operate with confidence.
